Thinking About School Choice: My Observations From Nearly 20 Years in Education

How do families decide where their children go to school: public, charter, private, or homeschool? Every choice tells a story about priorities, resources, and access. After nearly 20 years in education as a teacher, instructional coach, and district leader, I’ve seen the incredible dedication of educators, and the challenges students face in different schools.

I want to hear from families, students, educators, administrators, and policymakers: What drives your school decisions? What has worked well ,or not, for your children? Your experiences can help shed light on what really matters when it comes to school choice.
